No 3G Web Browsing Possible With Amazon’s New Kindle Touch

Amazon confirms that its touch screen Kindle e-reader–awaited to reach consumers next calendar month–won't support World Wide Web browsing over its 3G wireless connection.

"Our new Kindle Touch 3G enables you to relate to the Provok Store, download books and periodicals, and access code Wikipedia–all over 3G or Wi-Fi," an Amazon "formalized" explained in one of its customer forums.
